Idol a venerable citizen of the Frbndahip settlement, this county, died yesterday at about a o'clock. : His burial was to take place at Deep River church at a o'clock to day. He was both a Mason and an Odd Fellow. Mr.' Idol had been suf fering from an attack of pneumonia, but the symptoms of that disease had passed away, when there was a fail ure of heart action which terminated his life.
